Speaker 1:

Well, hello there. This is living your success with yours truly, michael Caine, win 24-7. That's right, this is living your success 24 hours, 7 days a week. It does not stop. It depends on how you define success. Waking up in the morning with my mind yes, right, I knew who I was and I woke up. So that's the first success, that's right. Everything else, ah, it'll come. It'll come. So, anyway, hope all of you are doing great.

Speaker 1:

Um, this year is over half done, completed in the history books, and you got to ask yourself what am I doing? What am I doing to live my success, to be on that want to dig deep into us, not just the outer us and what people see, but what's going on inside the spirit, the brain, the mind, that kind of thing. You know the thought processes, because guess, what it starts with your mind starts with that spirit you have, and then everything comes after that. So what do you feel and what do you believe? Who you are, what you are, is actually you defining what your successful life will be. What will that look like? So we I did a podcast specifically on determination, self-determination, so this is like a cousin to that other podcast. But so I want to talk about what's going on. Do you believe? Are you, have you reached the mountaintop? Have you reached the pinnacle of your career or your personal life? Do you feel that you're on the top, looking down at this point, are you still trying to get up the mountain, trying to like that choo-choo train, trying to get up? You still trying to get up to the top? You know, honestly, and that's all I can be, I don't see myself at the very top at this point, but it's to me the journey is just as important, if not more important, to the destination of that journey, you feel me? So how we get there is important, just as important. The ends justify the means.

Speaker 1:

We don't want to say that, because usually that's a negative thing, meaning you sacrifice your soul, you did something wrong to justify whatever the outcome was. We don't want to do that, we don't want. Well, you heard that thing called karma, right. And you heard that thing called what Prison? You don't want to go there either, right, and so do you have self-imposed limits on yourself.

Speaker 1:

That's where I kind of want to focus this uh show as far as so in so many instances, as we grow up, since birth, and we age and we grow and have experiences, so many people out there knock us down, say the comments oh boy, girl, you can't do that, you don't have the talent, you don't have the looks. So many people external to us will already try to take us out and I don't mean out for a date, I mean take us out of this journey. We're on out of our purpose walk. So many people will do that for us before we even get to destroying ourselves. They will do that for you if you let them, and you don't get to blame them forever either. I know some people are still getting over what so-and-so did to them 30, 40 years ago or yesterday or whatever, and it may be true, legitimate complaint, but that's holding you back too.

Speaker 1:

I'm not talking, I'm not going into a whole episode about forgiveness. I'm not doing that. That's not my point. My point is it's where you spend your time, how you spend your time. Are you spending your time on you, on developing, nurturing, growing, developing you? Are you learning, taking the time to learn new skills, to nurture and grow the skills?

Speaker 1:

You do have to become expert, become kings and queens to get your power back, to take your power back. You don't ask for permission, you take it, you seize it. Your power man, please have power. You don't do that, you take it. You seize it. Your power man, please have power. You don't do that, you take it. And I don't mean by violence either. I don't want people to go to the one extreme to the other. You don't want to be so weak weak and then be so like you're in a tank, rolling over everything and everybody in its path, a path of destruction. That's idiotic as well. We don't want to do that. There's a measured, balance approach to living the life we always wanted to live, as I say in my book Slaying your Dragons it's on Amazon, by the way. Slaying your Dragons Living the Life you Always Wanted subtitle your dragons it's on amazon, by the way. Uh, slaying your dragons living the life you always wanted subtitle. And please listen, continue to listen and support this podcast. I appreciate all of you for taking that time around the world, wherever you are, whoever you are. I appreciate you. So, please, so, please share family friends on Amazon, apple, spotify, iheartradio and many more.

Speaker 1:

So we allow restrictions or limitations to be placed on us because of inferior, weak-minded people. That's right, you heard me weak minded. They look strong in one sense, but they're really not the little, the little weak punks actually, and so don't get deterred or frustrated or accept the bs from these people. Some people, uh, you could be deemed close to you, could be pals yeah, pals trying to take you down, trying to take you out. A lot of people do what they do because they're jealous. They're absolutely jealous, or they're lonely and don't want you to go, expand your horizons and seize all the opportunities and leave them there in the dust because they're not strong enough to put themselves on the path to success.

Speaker 1:

I try and talk about anyone, but we've all been in these certain phases of life, and so where are you? Where do you want to be? You got to jot it down. Where do you want to be? Some of you like to wait once a year and do New Year's resolutions. Really, you're going to have goals and refine those goals and purposes once a year. I would encourage you to spend some time. Turn off the TV, the radio, the radio, right, okay, remember that I'm dating myself, all the multimedia, social media, media. Take some time out to you to determine your, your destiny, your path, not just to what, but how you want to get there, how you can get there, and so I encourage you to listen to shows like this. I'm not the only one, but I do want you to listen to mine and support the show, where we can give you tidbits of things you could be doing.

Speaker 1:

First lay it out and then take deeper dives into what does it take? What does it take, what does it take to live how I envision, to live in freedom, free of bondage of all types, whether that's relational or financial, or health or spiritual? You say, well, I don't have control over any of those things. You don't have control over everything. Of course not. No one does. No one does.

Speaker 1:

But don't impose limits on you prematurely or inappropriately where it really isn't a limit. But if you say it's a limit, there will be one. Be free, be free. Do you want, my friends? Do you want to be free? I know this isn't a live show where you can say, yeah, I might call in, I want to be free. Do you want to be free? And I can certainly. I don't have all the answers for you, but I have what I have. I do have certain pathways of direction that you could take, but you know what. You can listen to everybody you want, including me. But at the end of the day you have to make the decision. But I do encourage you to do your research before making those progressive decisions. Decisions progressively is what I mean to say, and the more you learn and absorb like little sponges you are the more you're capable of making decisions that you feel comfortable with. Making decisions that you feel comfortable with, decisions that you know will only help you and not hinder you.

Speaker 1:

So the thesis here know your limits, what are your limits, and are they true limits or just having a moment of inferiority complex? I know I suffered from that historically, just took myself out of the game before anybody else did. I've been back in the game. I'm restoring everything the enemy has stolen from me. Uh-oh, sound religious, not just religious, but things I've allowed to take me down and out. It's being restored. But if you give up and just say, oh, that's it, yeah, it's over, game over. Game can be over any day, any time you want, if you make it so.

Speaker 1:

So if you're suffering from sadness or a deeper dive, you're suffering from any level depression, I encourage you to get some professional help. I am not a psychiatrist, psychologist or professional counselor. I'm someone on the podcast that cares deeply for people that want people to succeed, the people that want to succeed. I want you to to succeed. Call me a coach, call me a coach, whatever, but someone that cares. So I would say you have something in mind that you want to do, but you've been talked out of it for by 50, 100 times or people.

Speaker 1:

Maybe you do have some level of limitations because you may need to go to school or take classes or get tutored. You know that may be the truth that you do need some schooling, whether it's academic side or vocational side, or you know, or getting some specific coaching to a specific field of interest. Let's say, learn how to play the guitar. I mean take lessons. You always want to do that. Take lessons, learn, read, read, watch, watch videos. Instructional Take classes. It could be online Online classes read, watch, watch videos. Instructional take classes could be online online classes, community college, whatever. I encourage you to do that so you can go beyond whatever limits you impose, allow others to impose on you.

Speaker 1:

Perhaps you can overcome those restrictions, limitations, by taking decisive action and say forgetting, I'm tired of being shy, I'm tired of doing this, I am going to do this and knock this out of the park Bases are loaded, grand slam. I'm knocking it out of the park and nothing will stop me that. See how strong that was. I hope it was strong because that's why I intended to be. I am going to do this. I'm going to do that. I'm not going to overstand, extend myself and kill myself either and drop dead being stressed in.

Speaker 1:

I take care of your health, started to be more serious about my health. Go to the gym and exercise more. Uh, eat better. I can do a lot better. But doing that, take some time out, like vacations. We've been doing that more.

Speaker 1:

Stop putting all those things in the future, a future that may not come. There's no guarantee of the next 30, 40, 50 years, 50 years tomorrow. There's no. So enjoy today Doesn't mean you have to be Satisfied and totally content and stay where you're at, but Be blessed and accept the things, the blessings you do have. But still, if you're not done, don't be done. I'm not done. Baked chickens are done, but not me.

Speaker 1:

I'm saying what are my limitations? Well, don't seem to be particularly good at that or this or that, whatever. But if it's that important, work on it and even if you, uh, are the only one that enjoy whatever activity or whatever it is, and that your life is meaningful as how you define it. So I would say, when you identify and know your limits, go for it, go for it. You watch the. I like movies, I like films at different genres, but you see those action movies where all it looks like is loss, the world is doomed, but yet at the end it survives. Why? Because even people that thought about quitting, almost did quit or did quit, but they jumped back in the game and they saved the day. Let that be you. You saved the day. Yes, you could be a hero of your own story. Maybe it's a story no one else will know, you know, but it's a story you'll know.

Speaker 1:

So, living your success 24-7. The title of the show is a goal For sure. I want to live my life. I want to live with a personal life, professional life, successfully. And it's not all about the money when I say that, of course don't be rich and wealthy and unlimited financial resources. Of course I do. Of course I do, of course I do, I'm doing that, I'm working on that. But I'm talking about a deeper fulfillment, a place that no one can go in your head, your mind, your spirit, except for you, and then you should share your gift to the world. Whatever the world is, it may not be like Elvis or Michael Jackson worldwide, or the Beatles, let's say, but it can be in your local community, regional or statewide, national or whatever level you aim to target. That's up for you.

Speaker 1:

Point is don't quit, do not Q-U-I-T quit. So take yourself in a quiet place, in a place where you're calm. It could be a river or lake, a beach, a big, wide ocean. Be under a tree Is your place to chill out, to relax, to open yourself up to self-discovery, even when you get tired. Look, folks, I get tired and weary and I have said well, what's the point? You know struggling, toiling. What's the point? And again, you may have to get some level of counseling. Definitely get a pal, a friend, somebody that has your back, without wanting something else.

Speaker 1:

I know through my life I've encountered some good, bad and ugly. Good folks, let's talk about the good and this is what you should focus on. The good A lot of times we focus on the and the ugly. Good folks, let's talk about the good and this is what you should focus on. The good A lot of times we focus on the negative and the bad. There's good folks out there willing to stand by you, to support you, to enable you to be the best you can be, and that's the posse, the crowd that you focus on, and you you allocate your time and then the other ones may mean well, but totally negative and not supportive. So you restrict your time with those two and but they're not evil, they're. They may be misguided in what you need and what you feel and what your goals are, not listening to you, but at the end of the day, they mean well, but they're just not there. So you don't want to be disrespectful, but you know, hey, you know, just know how you spend your time.

Speaker 1:

And then there's other people that want to be negative toward you, intentionally, not unintentionally. Intentionally they're trying to destroy you. Those you can't worry about. Dismiss them. Don't spend any time that you have to. You may be working with them, like me in the past, working with the devil, but the devil doesn't win. It's funny how these devils keep popping up like the what's that? Uh, whack-a-mo. You pop one devil down and another one pops up. It's gonna be for your life, those devils and those you got to watch out. Have that eye behind your back, how you got to have four eyes, two in the front, one on the top, one in the back, okay, and supersonic hearing so you can hear them coming, or smelling where you can smell them coming.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, so you have to do you, be, you, work on you and push through those limitations by practicing, rehearsing, learning those things, even if it's for your own enjoyment, your own fulfillment. So it's important Now, certain things you may want to monetize and make money Right. Monetize and make money right. My hope, my goal, is to share with the world hope with the world, provide assistance to the world, but in a world again, may be figuratively speaking, not just the physical world, all continents, the whole world itself, but may just be local, may just be in certain areas, like, like I said. So you define that. But be content to the point where you're grateful and then be, have that energy and burn where you that burning desire to be more, to do more.

Speaker 1:

And you got to forgive yourself thing I struggled with. You got to forgive yourself for making I struggled with. You got to forgive yourself for making bonehead, stupid decisions that messed you up Right. Start from the day you say, oh, it's too late. No, it's not. Start from where you're at. Start from where you're at and feel free to email me at MichaelCcanespeaks at gmailcom. That's one of my emails Michael Cane with a K, k-a-n-e speaks gmailcom.

Speaker 1:

Any success stories, anything that or any subject matter you want me to talk about, discuss, discuss. So the tools that you need vary depending on the goals and what you want, but the steps again to reiterate, you may need to take courses, classes. You may have to read, or read or educate yourself to improve upon your knowledge or existing knowledge base, to have a foundation and have a, an action plan, a plan that, in baby steps, don't try to conquer the world in one day, may not happen, you may be disappointed in that and target specific steps in which you're going to take and commit to, to where you're going to move closer and move closer toward whatever and however you define success. So, that said, this is all I have today. It's been a pleasure and I encourage you to keep listening and downloading podcasts and notifications on all the platforms. I'm available and I hope and wish you the best and you will hear from me again.

Speaker 1:

And I encourage you to go on my website and sign up for Catalyst, the newsletter I have. That is motivational encouragement. Tell stories about me and just others, and uh, to encourage and help self-motivate the readers and to Be, you know, another form of coach to those who are able and willing. Ok, so that's it. I appreciate all of you listening, taking the time and till next time. My friends, this is Michael Caine, with Living your Success 24-7. Until next time.
